Gov. Gary Herbert identified enrollment in secondary education as a primary goal for his administration. This goal carries particular weight for American Indian students, who face unique economic and geographic barriers. Many resources do exist, however, to help American Indian students overcome those challenges and pursue an education, whether at a technical college, junior college, or university.

David Arapene Cuch Scholarship
This scholarship was created to provide an opportunity and financial support for members of the Ute Indian Tribe who follow David Cuch’s path by attending law school at the University of Utah. The scholarship is funded by David Cuch’s family and friends.
